Given a child’s short attention span, inevitable distractions from technology and increasing parental busy schedules, it's a mammoth task to just schedule a photoshoot- let alone, get them to sit still and smile all at the same time! With their missing iPad or toys, the last thing you can get a child to do is, to pose or smile at a stranger (read as photographer).
Key is to capture the beauty of childhood naturally, in its true essence. Even a short photoshoot with a distracted child may seem endless and stressful. Read on for some great tips to make this an enjoyable experience.

Rule#1: NEVER restrict your little ones. We will capture them at their most natural self of kids being kids. As surprising as it sounds when we ask you to bring their favourite toys and snacks as reward, these are great methods to keep your child naturally engaged and relaxed.
Rule#2: Do not rush. Take as many breaks as needed. Children are delicately sensitive to pressure and stress, they also recognise stress in parents, specially in an external or new environment.

Notably, no matter how distracted or cranky a child is at the start, we still get those perfect shots. Amidst the chaos, there exists a few moments of happy, funny or cheeky expressions, that we capture as memories of how your child’s emotions can light up a room. At any time during the shoot, the siblings may get into a squabble or perhaps a toddler throws a tantrum for no apparent reason, but over the course of the shoot there will be moments worthy of capture.
You get the picture – there’s always:
- Laughter amid cries
- Smiles after screaming
- Silliness between the sleepiness

These captured moments, a decade later will be the best of memories and can be treasured by generations to come.
Years later, we guarantee that the only memories will be of those perfect moments of love and laughter captured beautifully. Time and again we have clients from the past state how their families have bonded through these pictures, over the years.
