FAQS
What are portrait photo sessions like?
Portrait sessions (Couple/Maternity/Babies/Children/ Family) are a relaxed and fun experience, and are available midweek and weekends. You can choose the time that suits you/your family’s routine best. We photograph you/your family as you are naturally, taking gorgeous candid portraits of your family interacting with each other.
How can I make my Payment?
Once your shoot date and locations are locked we send you an invoice for the shoot. A non- refundable deposit of £50 needs to paid to secure your booking via Bank transfer and the remaining can be paid on the day of the shoot via Card/Bank transfer.
Shoot Locations?
Our photoshoot sessions are mainly outdoors, we love using beautiful backdrops that nature provides and choose scenic locations near you. Locations within London & Hertfordshire are included in the package but we are happy to travel anywhere around the globe to capture your favourite moments (provided our travel is paid for). We also do photoshoots indoors at the comfort of your own home. The format is flexible – we can also take a few photographs indoors and the rest outdoors if you prefer (the travel time between locations will be included in the session time).
What if the weather forecast looks bad beforehand?
Overcast skies actually create lovely soft light and are very flattering. It’s always possible to get beautiful photographs no matter the weather, so don’t worry too much about it! If it’s forecast to rain and outdoor shots are really important to you, we can reschedule your portrait session. Please note we may not be able to offer a date for the same week as your original booking and weekends can get booked up several months ahead.
What should I have ready?
To be honest nothing but your big wide smiles...!!
Some tips for young children: Pick out some favourite toys to distract your child and keep them entertained – bigger toys are better for photos. Bubbles are a sure hit, as are some noisy / musical toys for keeping their attention. It’s also worth having a wet wipe ready for any little bits on your child’s face: a dribbly nose is cute, but you might prefer it wiped off for the photo!
